Circle of Dust è stata una band industrial attiva a metà degli anni '90, fondata e guidata da Klayton (allora noto come Scott Albert). Klayton è oggi più famoso per il suo progetto solista Celldweller. Circle of Dust, insieme a gruppi contemporanei come Mortal e Deitiphobia, ha contribuito a introdurre l'industrial metal nella scena alternativa cristiana del metal. Dal gruppo sono nati numerosi progetti derivati, tra cui Klank, guidato dal chitarrista di Circle of Dust Daren "Klank" Diolosa; Argyle Park e Brainchild, band parallele create da Klayton con pseudonimi; e CHATTERbOX, che ha visto la partecipazione di futuri membri di Stavesacre. Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo si ricordano 'The Last Stand', 'Blood and Tears' e 'A New Beginning'.
