Mr. Bungle è un gruppo musicale statunitense di genere rock sperimentale, formatosi a Eureka, California, nel 1985. Considerati pionieri del movimento avant-garde metal, il loro sound si caratterizza per l'eclettismo e la fusione di influenze diverse come il funk, il jazz, il thrash metal e la musica classica. Il gruppo è composto da Mike Patton (voce), Trevor Dunn (basso), Danny Heifetz (chitarra) e Scott Ian (batteria). Dopo una serie di EP e album indipendenti, Mr. Bungle ha firmato con l'etichetta discografica Warner Bros. Records nel 1995, pubblicando il loro album di debutto omonimo. L'album è stato accolto con recensioni positive dalla critica e ha contribuito a far conoscere al pubblico la band. Mr. Bungle si è sciolto nel 2000 per dedicarsi a progetti solisti, ma si sono riuniti nel 2019 per un tour mondiale e hanno pubblicato l'album "The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo" nel 2020. Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo ricordiamo "Quote Unquote", "Squeeze Me Macaroni", "Retrovertigo" e "Anarchy Up Your Ass".
