Prefab Sprout è un gruppo musicale britannico di pop rock, attivo dal 1982. Fondato a Northumberland da Paddy McAloon (voce, chitarra), il gruppo ha raggiunto la fama negli anni '80 con un sound caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi poetici e arrangiamenti orchestrali complessi. Tra i brani più noti figurano "Cars and Girls", "The King of Rock'n'Roll" e "Hey!" .
