Rupert Hine (1950-2020) è stato un cantautore, musicista e produttore discografico britannico di grande influenza nel panorama musicale degli anni '80. Nato a Londra, Hine ha iniziato la sua carriera come tastierista per diversi gruppi rock prima di dedicarsi alla produzione musicale. Tra i suoi lavori più noti figurano le produzioni per artisti come The Human League, Rush e Stevie Nicks. Nel 1981 ha pubblicato il suo album d'esordio "The World of Rupert Hine", seguito da altri successi come "Propeller" (1983) e "Parallel Lines" (1986).
