Wintersleep è un gruppo musicale indie rock canadese formatosi a Halifax, Nuova Scozia, nel 2001. Il gruppo è composto da Paul Murphy (voce, chitarra), Loel Barr (chitarra, tastiere), Chris Keating (basso) e Amedeo Pace (batteria). Wintersleep è noto per il suo sound caratterizzato da atmosfere melanconiche, melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi. Dopo aver pubblicato diversi album indipendenti, hanno firmato con la Sonic Unyon Records nel 2005, ottenendo un successo crescente in Canada.
