Counting Crows è un gruppo rock statunitense formatosi a Berkeley, California, nel 1989. Il loro sound si caratterizza per melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e una forte componente folk-rock. Dopo anni di concerti in locali, il gruppo ha firmato con la Geffen Records nel 1993. Il loro album di debutto, *August and Everything After*, è diventato un successo internazionale grazie al singolo «Mr. Jones», raggiungendo il disco di platino multiplo.
