Eloy ist eine deutsche Rockband, die seit 1969 aktiv ist. Ihr Musikstil kombiniert Elemente des symphonischen Rocks und des Space Rocks, wobei letzteres Thema in den frühen Alben stärker präsent ist. Trotz ihrer Nationalität und ihres Zeitraums wird Eloy nicht allgemein als Krautrock angesehen, da ihr Sound viel mit englischen Progressive-Rock-Gruppen wie Pink Floyd, King Crimson und Yes gemeinsam hat. Zu den bekanntesten Songs gehören "The Gates of Doom", "Ocean", "Beyond the Wall" und "Lady of the Lake". Ihr Debütalbum "Eloy" (1971) gilt als Meilenstein des deutschen Space Rocks.
