The Delgados sono stati un gruppo indie rock scozzese formatosi a Motherwell nel 1994. Composti da Emma Pollock (voce, chitarra), Stuart McAlpine Fidler (chitarra, voce), Alasdair MacLean (basso) e Paul Harkin (batteria), hanno raggiunto una certa popolarità negli anni '90 e primi anni 2000 con un sound caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e arrangiamenti raffinati. Il loro debutto, "The Great Eastern", risale al 1997 e ha segnato l'inizio di una carriera costellata da album apprezzati dalla critica come "Since When" (2000) e "Hate and Love" (2002). La band si è sciolta nel 2005 dopo un tour mondiale. Tra i brani più noti dei Delgados figurano "The Light", "I'm Not Your Man", "Come On, Come On" e "Always Right Always Wrong".
