Audioslave è stato un gruppo musicale formatosi nel 2000 da tre membri di Rage Against the Machine (Tom Morello, Tim Commerford e Brad Wilk) e dal cantante Chris Cornell, ex Soundgarden. Il sound di Audioslave si discosta dalla rabbia politica di RATM per abbracciare un rock più melodico ed introspettivo, influenzato dall'esperienza di Cornell con Soundgarden.
