The Wrens sono un gruppo indie rock formatosi alla fine degli anni '80 nel New Jersey. Il gruppo è composto da Charles Bissell, Greg Whelan, Kevin Whelan e Jerry MacDonald. Il loro album di debutto, *Silver*, è stato pubblicato nel 1994. La band ha affrontato problemi discografici durante gli anni '90, impedendole di pubblicare un album per molti anni dopo *Secaucus* del 1996. La terza opera della band, *The Meadowlands*, è finalmente uscita alla fine del 2003.
