Foghat è una band britannica di blues-rock boogie, famosa soprattutto per il successo degli anni '70, ma che continua ad essere attiva fino ai giorni nostri. Il loro album d'esordio omonimo, pubblicato nel 1972, fu un immediato successo tra i fan del rock e scalò le classifiche, stabilendo una formula per le future pubblicazioni che hanno modificato poco.
