William Haislip "Billy" Squier (geboren am 12. Mai 1950 in Wellesley, Massachusetts) ist ein amerikanischer Rockmusiker. In den 1980er Jahren hatte er eine Reihe von Hits im Stadionrock. Bekannt ist er wahrscheinlich für das Lied "The Stroke", das auf seinem Album *Don't Say No* aus dem Jahr 1981 zu finden ist. Weitere Hits sind "In the Dark", "Rock Me Tonite", "Lonely Is the Night", "My Kinda Lover", "Everybody Wants You", "All Night Long" und "Emotions in Motion". Squier begann seine musikalische Karriere in den 1970er Jahren, spielte in verschiedenen lokalen Bands, bevor er 1979 sein Debütalbum *Tale of the Tape* veröffentlichte.
