I Violent Femmes sono un gruppo musicale alternativo rock/country punk statunitense formatosi a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, nel 1980. Composti da Gordon Gano (voce, chitarra), Brian Ritchie (basso, percussioni) e Victor DeLorenzo (batteria), hanno raggiunto fama internazionale con il loro sound unico che fonde elementi di folk, blues e rockabilly.
