New Model Army è una rock band inglese formatasi nel 1982 a Leeds. Considerati un gruppo influente nell'ambito del post-punk e dell'indie rock, hanno esplorato sonorità diverse che spaziano dal folk rock al gothic rock, con influenze anche di musica classica e sperimentale. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da testi politici e sociali, spesso introspettivi e riflessivi, accompagnati da un mix di chitarre distorte, melodie malinconiche e una forte presenza del basso.
