Michael Schenker (nato il 10 gennaio 1955) è un chitarrista rock tedesco, famoso per la sua esperienza nei UFO e per il suo lavoro solista. Ha raggiunto la fama in giovane età come cofondatore degli Scorpions, per poi affermarsi a metà degli anni '70 come chitarrista principale dei UFO. Dopo aver lasciato i UFO nel 1978, ha guidato il Michael Schenker Group in diverse formazioni. È il fratello minore di Rudolf Schenker, che continua a suonare la chitarra con gli Scorpions. Schenker è noto per il suo stile di chitarra virtuosistico e melodico, influenzato dal hard rock classico e dal heavy metal.
