Jim Reeves (1930-1964) war ein amerikanischer Sänger und Musiker, der als einer der Pioniere des Country-Pop-Genres gilt. Geboren in Carthage, Texas, begann Reeves seine musikalische Karriere in den 1950er Jahren, indem er in Clubs in Houston sang. 1955 unterschrieb er bei RCA Victor Records und erzielte schnell mit dem Lied "He'll Have to Go" Erfolge.
